This boat has undergone substantial refurbishment over the last 4 years including all windows being removed and refurbished, all internal wooden linings and panels replaced, making this Broom 30 totally watertight.
All deck fittings were removed and deck undersides reglassed for strength before refitting.
New coated safety wires to stanchions and fittings.

To list all of the work carried out would not be possible in this advert but interested parties can email for a full list of what has been done to the boat along with a portfolio of when the boat was being refurbished.

This has been credited as being one of the best Broom 30’s seen by renowned boat builder Kingsley Farrington and it really needs to be seen to be appreciated.
For in depth information about this boat please email or text.

The reason we’re selling is because due to other commitments we just haven’t been able to use the boat as it should be and it’s with regret that we have decided to sell it.

To find a Broom 30 that has no window leaks or water ingress damage would normally be an impossible task, but this Broom 30 genuinely has no issues as its all been done.

We know the history of this boat from the day it was manufactured and supplied to the Lord Mayor of Northampton back in 1975. There is a substantial file that accompanies the boat and we have a massive file of photographs detailing the work that has been carried out on the boat.

There are a few Broom 30’s still for sale but the difference with this one is that its not hiding any expensive defects like windows leaking, loose deck fittings, spongy decks or damaged rotten internal wooden linings. This boat is not a project, its a classic that simply needs to be looked after.

This is a genuine honest sale of a classic boat.

We are boat transporters by profession, and as such, we would be willing to transport Cicada anywhere in the UK, at cost price. For the boats and outboards page, please follow this link.
