This Broom Saxon 40 is extremely rare having been the only one ever produced. Originally designed as a successor to the Admiral Class for the hire fleet. Since new the Broom family themselves used the boat every summer whilst taking part in regattas around the Broads. This was eventually sold with the hire fleet in 2004 and 2 years ago it was transferred by its new owners down onto the River Thames.
However, the Saxon was subsequently sold again and we were asked to transport the Saxon back to the Norfolk Broads by the new owners. It was a pleasure to be involved in bringing this real classic back to its place of origin.
