Linssen 40 Sedan

After meeting the owners of this lovely Linssen 40 Sedan at the Brundall Boat Show, we were asked to transport this new boat back home to the Norfolk Broads.  We loaded the Linssen at Shepperton Marina, and being 4.3m wide (14’1″) wide, we were required to have an escort vehicle for the entire journey back up to St Olaves Marina where the boat would be off loaded.  Negotiating the M25 with a load as wide as this was testing to say the least.   The owners were then going to take a steady cruise back to their home moorings in Brundall.

The owners chose to launch at St Olaves purely to avoid any hazards such as low hung trees and narrow routes into Brundall.  We always try to help owners when deciding appropriate locations to lift out or launch, and being boat owners ourselves and having knowledge of the Norfolk Broads river networks, we are able to offer advice on cruising times etc.  In this instance, the experience of the owners allowed them to make an informed decision of where they wanted their new boat delivered to.
