Built in 1890 in Brightlingsea, Essex, “Shamrock” a 45 foot traditional fishing smack was resurrected from Lowestoft where it stood for a couple of decades.
We were fortunate enough to be trusted to handle this delicate boat and were given the opportunity to play a small part in this project, by delivering it back to its place of origin. It will now undergo 3 years of complete restoration to bring it back to its original condition, some 127 years after it was built.
We would like to thank Paul Winter of Winter & Co, for trusting us with this precious piece of local maritime history.
